Field Trips + Urban Exploration

We fully embrace our urban setting and make the most of all our city's treasures. At University Cooperative School, learning is active and immersed in the city that surrounds us, bringing Seattle’s rich culture and history to life!

On regular field trips, we explore the riches of Seattle using public transportation, walking, or biking. In conjunction with our Outdoor Learning program and Epic Adventures, we provide students with real-world experiences riding trains and buses to some of our city’s historic, educational, and cultural treasures.

Recent visits include Burke Museum, Seattle Children’s Theater, The Pacific Science Center, Mohai Museum, Wing Luke Museum, Seattle Aquarium, the International District, our local fire station, and many more!
